We love hair, makeup and history! Trained in hairdressing and makeup, we come from a media background. For each article, we talk to people from the world of film and TV who really know their stuff and do lots of old-fashioned research – the type that involves more than just copying and pasting crap found on the internet.

We’ve been on lots of sets, stood in a rainy field at 3am waiting for another take, worked in the heat, seen horrendous behaviour and watched sublime makeup transformations. Like Dorothy stepping out into a Technicolor world of wonder, our eyes are amazed with every job - and sometimes they see things we wish we could forget! The learning never stops!
