Photographs of Women 1940-1945

This collection of 1940s photographs show everyday British women in a variety of classic hairstyles from this era with rolls, curls and wonderful finger waves. They also give an insight to the fashions worn during this time.

The black and white photographs were taken between 1940 and 1945 in a professional photographic studio in Lancing, West Sussex, UK.
